Red Bull X1 Prototype Could Reach Top Speed 450 km / h, Red Bull Racing in close cooperation with Polyphony Digtial, has launched the X1 prototype, a fictitious model which is intended for the video game Gran Turismo 5. In the video here we see the Red Bull Racing driver Sebastian Vettel became testers X1 in cyberspace. Design a prototype design is indeed intended to be the engine driving the world's fastest.
X1 prototype is a car fan, developed by the contributions of Red Bull Racing's aerodynamicist is Adrian Newey. The basic idea is the creation X1 made a racing car with a fan that forces air out from under the car to reduce the force and creating a suction effect with big downforce.
Car fan has been banned from racing because of excess steroid-like aerodynamics and handling they provide. X1 prototype is equipped with 3000 cc engine twin turbo V6 engine capable of generating power up to 1500 PS (1106 kW) and 714 Nm of torque. To lockdown time from 0 to 60 mph (96 km / h) can be achieved in just 1.4 seconds and another great X1 reached 200 mph (322 km / h) in 6.1 seconds. One other note is the fact behwa phenomenal X1 Top speed can reach 450km / h and maximum lateral acceleration can reach 8.75G - the boundary where the human body can survive.
